Pocket Roughness
Compact unit with integrated touchscreen, ideal for quick shop-floor checks and workshop use. Immediate interface and “ready-to-measure” operation.
OmniDrive is designed for reliable measurements in laboratory and production environments: compact and rigid structure, precision guide system, and easy handling even on complex components.
Surface finish and profile inspection require stability, repeatability and precision even on complex parts or components that are difficult to position. OmniDrive was developed to make roughness, waviness and profile measurements reliable and repeatable in all situations where a traditional roughness tester is not enough: cylindrical surfaces, assembled components, large parts or measurements in non-standard orientations. Thanks to the precision motorized guideway and the compact, rigid structure, the system enables stable acquisitions both in the lab and directly on the shop floor, reducing operator variability and improving repeatability in quality control.
Data archiving, traceability and digital reporting through PC software.
Optimized for fixed and mobile stations, with high stability and repeatability.
Accurate control of traverse along the measurement axis.
Measure horizontally, vertically or upside down without compromise.
Ideal for automated sequences and repetitive quality inspections.
Power and data via USB for a quick, clean setup.
Manual tilt adjustment and automatic zeroing for immediate alignment.

PC software for advanced analysis: profile management, archiving, traceability and complete metrology reports in a laboratory environment.

Finish and profile inspection on CNC-machined components, seats and functional surfaces.

High-precision metrology on critical surfaces and profiles for aeronautical applications.

Quality control on gears, shafts, valves and flat or cylindrical surfaces.

Surface finish analysis on precision components for medical devices.
OmniDrive was developed to cover situations where a traditional roughness tester is not practical: complex components, space constraints, and the need for stability and repeatability on the shop floor. The precision linear guide and rigid structure ensure controlled, stable acquisitions, both in the lab and in-line. It can be used in a portable configuration, on a stand, or integrated into dedicated benches.
The system enables measurements in any orientation, even upside down or at 90°, allowing inspection of critical surfaces in positions that conventional systems cannot reach. The V-groove base ensures stability on cylindrical or curved surfaces, while fine manual tilt adjustment via the knob enables precise alignment with the part geometry, improving accuracy and repeatability. Thanks to the motorized Z axis, the instrument can automatically approach the part before starting the measurement and, at the end of the cycle, lift to a safe position, reducing the risk of impacts and optimizing operator workflow.
